I'm selling my #'s matching 1967 Plymouth GTX with its original 440, backed by a 727 Automatic, and a bullet proof 8-3/4" SureGRIP rear (3:55's) - all #'s matching. I have the original buildsheet, fendertag, and window sticker. This was the first year for the 375HP 440 hp engine and still retains it's very desirable 916 closed chambered heads. It's been modified somewhat but is very streetable. It's got a Mopar Performance 509/282 Purple Shaft cam, MP Dual Plane Aluminum Intake manifold, Holley 800CFM carb, MP Electonic Ignition, Hi-Torque Mini-Starter, 10.5:1 Lightweight Keith Black pistons, MP HD oil pump (60-80PSI always), balanced bottom end, ported heads and intake, ceramic coated headers, K&N air filter contained in the original air cleaner, there is only 3,500 miles on the complete drivetrain and I have receipt for everything ($15k in mechanicals put in this car since 2001), run's high 12's in the 1/4. New 11" Police Spec manual drums, these babies really stop this car - new wheel cylinders, hardware, drums, lines, everything. Power steering, factory original white/black bucket seat interior is nearly flawless, console shift, column mounted Tach, MP guages monitoring Water Temp and Oil Pressure, lights work perfect, no battery drain at all. Engine bay is a shiny as the exterior, it was repainted when the engine was out and looks great. Exterior paint is amazing and the clear coat looks a foot thick, it's the original QQ1 Dark Red poly as described on the fendertag, car is straight with good gaps, the doors, trunklid, and hood open and close perfectly. The black vinyl roof is tight and perfect, all glass looks to be original with the exception of the windshield, they go up and down well, wipers work great . The AM radio has been replaced with an aftermarket Mopar AM-FM/Cassette player and plays through the front speaker in the dash. The heater and defrosters work well, no leaky heater-core here. Vents open and close as they should. 15x7 Mopar Police wheels powder coated and cleared, new BFG radial TA/s (255/60 & 235/60). This car gets looks like you wouldn't believe, the cam though the headers sound insane - it's what I like most about this car, it commands respect at the traffic lights - please see the video link below. I will only consider a 71-72 Duster (V8) in trade - asking $29,500 THANKS - Dave

Yup - need the dough too much, damn economy.... had to lay off a guy last week, it killed me... $28,500

Wish I could afford it! I love '67 GTX's!!

Me too... this is the 3rd one I've had and by far the nicest... thanks.

Dave

Sold (buyer hit the "buy it now" on eBay) - we've been talking, hope it's legit... we'll see

Dave
now Mopar-less...(sigh)

Well the new 61 yr old owner and his wife drove 8 hours down from Ottawa on Thursday, very nice people. I met them for breakfast yesterday, showed them the car, took Andy for a ride and that was that... He and I agreed that when the time comes that he wants to sell it I will get first shot at it - this one stings, but I know it's the right thing to do... Thanks for all the nice comments guys, as Arnold once said "I'll be back" -lol

Be well,
Dave

That was the 2nd 67 GTX I sold to the Great White North - my first one was an EE1 Blue 440, 4-Spd, Dana... not sure what I'll be looking for when the hunt resumes, maybe an A-Body, maybe a newer Challenger - not sure.

Take care,
Dave
