What color was the bottom cast iron AC compressor bracket from the factory? I have seen people say they were black and that may be true, but these used two of the insular manifold bolts to bolt them down. One of those bolts also had the throttle return spring bracket and the negative battery cable under it. My common sense tells me they were painted engine color and were in the engine when painted. I have two of them in my shop and both have some turquoise still visible on them. But what was correct? What’s OEM?
