This is a strange one. A 1968 carb # B8 4429-S which is I believe correct for a 1968 440 automatic but this carb has the bracket for the cruise control option which looks like it has been on there from the beginning. It also has the ears for the idle stop solenoid bracket, which I have along with a solenoid. The solenoid is for a 1971 a body I believe but it will get you started. Far as I know there was no cruise control in 1968 so is this one of those "it slipped thru the cracks" deal or what. May be a very early 69?
As far is the shape of the carb it looks quite well. The throttle levers turn easily but are not to loose. The mixture screws all turn. I am sure the carb will need to be gone through but a very rare and complete peace. Price is $375 with free shipping via paypal.
