Not sure if I should have listed this car here or in parts. Selling my 68 Coronet 500 convertible. This is a recent barn find that is completely original - other than the 15 inch rollers needed to pull it out of the mud. This old Mopar was covered many years ago and left behind the barn, with a totally rotton frame and floor to show for it. This is a number matching 383 column shift automatic car with a bench seat. Seats will need foam and covers. The car has all the parts for a full restoration project or convert your hardtop to a convertible. All of the roof parts, 500 trim, panels, glass, and vehicle tags (VIN and fender) are still intact and in good condition. Dash is complete with original am radio and uncut or dry rotted dash pads.

Fender tag decoded as:

Serious project! but a good one! That would be one sweet ride restored! I'd like to have a closer look at this one, maybe I'll have to stop by...

Thanks Matt. I have clean fenders and a power bulge hood that I would be willing to sell at a good price to kick-start this project. I can deliver it to you, too. I would hate to see this get used as a donor, but sometimes one must go to save many others...

If I already didn't have one I would be all over this car!! Actually still thinking about jumping on it..LOL Good price for such a very low production number car (322 total cars with 383 2v auto). God knows with the other options on it, how many were made or there is left. Please someone save this car!!

You can have it for $2,200, minus the drivetrain and dash. I will give you all the power switches from the dash. Starting to get a lot of interest in parts. I am willing to part this car out. Thanks for your interest.

OK - anyone want this convertible? I recently picked up a donor that was sand blasted from head to toe and had all the frames and floors replaced. This is a perfect donor for the convertible. $4,500 for the pair!

No drive train or interior. Rear 8 3/4 with 3.23 sure grip and front sway bar in good condition. Title and rust free fender tag, too. Asking $3,600.
