Hi guys it's me again. I have a z bar / clutch adjustment rod problem. The problem is the two don't line up and I don't know what to do . I ordered the z bar from year one for a 1968 dodge charger , the clutch for is a used one . I'm going to try and upload some pictures. The picture with the adj. rod with a washer on the backside of the fork was to balance it so I could get a pic of it with the rod in it

The clutch pedal is down against the floor in the last picture

Something doesn't look right. Are you sure you have the correct fork? I had an issue with the z-bars that Y.O. sells too. Theirs is kind of a generic style that can be made to work on several different application, but isn't correct for any of them. I ended up selling the one I bought from them on ebay and buying a correct one from Brewers.

Brewer's Performance parts are of excellent quality and always fit like the originals.
I have "Mickey Moussed" my own "fabrications" in the passed that have worked...
BUT now that I am
a more mature adult, I would call and ASK for help from people like Brewers (extremely helpful) ...
too many problems (I do not type fast enough to list problems) can arise if the Clutch linkage is not correct.

Make sure you have the correct clutch fork also. The total length should be somewhere around 10 3/4". Anything longer, and it would be for a different app. Brewers is the best ( X3 )

Thanks Guys , I measured my clutch fork and sure enough it was too long . It measured 12 in. So I got in touch with Brewers and ordered the correct one and the correct fork pivot because the one I had held the fork too high. Now I'm a happy camper :toothy10:
