Hey everyone!
Up for sale is a '68 Dodge D200 Camper Special. Single cab long bed with a 383 big block and a dash-shifted 727 auto trans.
The 383 runs excellent. Trans shifts good. It has good BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's with around 5000 miles on them. Within the last couple of years it has had the front brakes rebuilt, new master cylinder, a Red Head steering box installed, new tie rod ends, steering stabilizer, the original 318 swapped to the current '69 383, new Edelbrock performer intake manifold, new dual exhaust with glasspacks, dual batteries, new aluminum radiator with electric fans, new heater core, water pump, fuel pump, etc.
The body is in good shape, but unfortunately the previous owner started prepping the front end for paint so it doesn't match the rest of the truck. Interior is in excellent shape for its age, and the original seat is in good condition with no tears. It does have typical rust in the door sill areas that can be seen in the photos. It has under dash AC that was working before the engine swap but needs hoses reconnected now.
Overall, the truck is in pretty good shape for its age and runs well. It turns heads and gets compliments often. It is a 54 year old truck and is a little rough around the edges but it will get you home!
Asking $6750 OBO. Also open to trades. Feel free to message me with any questions, offers or possible trades. Worst I can say is no! Located in Gordon, TX.
