I have manual disk brakes on my 68gtx with single caliper pistons I can't find new rotors year one sent me the wrong ones I can't seem to find them anywhere would anybody out there no we're to get the rotors thank u.

I think they are very hard to find, either NOS or good used might be in order.Old ones to far gone to get them turned down?

I'm not aware of any B body coming with manual disc brakes from the factory so I'm thinking this is a conversion. The original style discs for that car were the Bendix 4 piston with power assist. We need more info as to what type of brakes you have.

Meep the last 2 70 RRs i had were both manual disc brake cars.Whether they came like that from the factory i dont know.

And for what its worth my 68 GTX has power drum brakes with 11x 2.5 rears and 11x3 up front

Get some pics up. You most likely have something more modern that's easy to get parts for. Someone here will recognize them. Are the caliper forward or rearward?

the caliper is rearward the rotors are a little smaller than 11 inchs the stock timkin rear bearing will not fit over the spindle .

Can you pull a rotor & see a casting number on the caliper & rotors ??, post them up here, preferably with photos too, maybe somebody may be able to identify them... You maybe able to get a replacement rotor from SSBC {Stainless Steel Brake Company} ,my drum to disc. conversions were 4 piston calipers, not single a piston, yo may be able to even get a slotted drilled & vented rotor for much better braking, there is also Wilwood, Right Stuff, Summit Racing, Jegs, Bendix, Baer Brakes, Strange Engineering, Classic Performance, Dr.Diff & Dorman... Happy Moparing & have fun happy hunting...

Sounds like maybe you have a drum brake spindle... someone maybe/probably did a drum to disc. conversion....

We really need pics

Do you have a 4 piston cast iron caliper or a single piston? Pictured here is the factory Bendix calipers.

Oh, and the original rotors for those are of a two piece design and are about 10.7" in diameter.

You could get Kelsey-Hayes Disc Brakes in Manual....They mounted to the rear of the rotor. According to the service manual, they also had 4 piston calipers though.

Correct my if I'm wrong, but I think those were only for a bodies.
