1968 GTX OPTIONS?

Hey guys I,m a newbie here and a mopar newbie at that. can anyone tell me if a 1968 GTX came with a tach or as it a option? my car is a 440 4sd dana car. thanks

I'm almost sure it was an option, but guys who know 68 gtx much better than me will know for certain.

Did you take a look in the sales brochure? Most likely you will find that info there.

68 GTX did not come standard with a tach. No idea what option code it is or what package.

The option code is 577. On the fender tag it would be indicated by a 7 under the T. As you can see in the above pics it went where the clock would also have been located. So unlike a Dodge with the Rally dash and a Tic Toc Tac you couldn't get both in your car.

Clock or tach were both optional (but not both!), just like the RoadRunner.
