1968 master cylinder swap

hi im new to this so if ive assed it up im sorry,i have a 1968 charger i recently purchased a (summit brand front disc conversion kit)changing from manual drum to power disc ive installed every thing just fine and now im at the master cylinder and notice it waghs about a ton does any body know can i interchange a newer lighter mc off say a dekota or mini van ??? i stil have drums on rear of car thanks for any help

Do not use a mc from a front wheel drive car!! You can get an aluminum mc from your local auto parts store, they just need to know the bore size, or step up to wilwood. Call dr. diff, or bill reily at rms (alterk), they can hook you up with what you need.
