I have decided to sell my 68 Plymouth GTX to build my 70 Bee. This is an original 440 4spd dana car with a date coded 440 engine (disassembled) with 915 HP heads! original hemi 4spd, original Dana with 3:54 gears.
Car is mostly complete and will need the usual quarters, trunk and some floor pans. Currently the car has a 67 383 block in it, which i will pull out if not desired.
This car was originally Sunfire yellow, with black stripes, black hood block, and a black vinyl top. The interior came with tach in the dash and a buddy seat!
I have a nice set of GTX tail lights and an extra trunk finish panel, as well as a repairable trunk lid.
I am the third owner of this car and all the numbers, save the engine match. I didnt find the build sheet however.

I am asking $8,000 obo, or partial trade for 70 Bee/Coronet parts!
let me know what you are thinking!

Same car from Seymour on C/L last summer?Anything local i usually spot on C/L.Cool project, good luck with the sale.

Well I'm thinking welcome to the forum Wanna-Bee ... guess that's why you're getting rid of the GTX in favor of the Bee. Good luck with the sale and take some time to post a Welcome Wagon thread over there with some pictures of the Bee and your plans.

Again good luck with the sale ... pretty nicely optioned GTX

yes, its the same car. I really wanted to build both of my cars, but Ive come to the realization that I have to pick one. Since the 70 Bee is my favorite Mopar of all, its gettin my hemi..

very nice good luck with sale:icon_thumright:

great project, good luck w the sale

With Wanna-bee's permission, I can scope this car out for someone. Not too far from where I live at all.

Good luck with your sale!

Update:: the engine is going to the shop this week!! I will also be ordering new Magnums and tires! (Gonna have some fun with this car this summer)

OK here's the skinny, I have too many cars, and the wife says something's gotta go. I wanted to Hemi-fy this car, but I really would like to get my 70 Bee done. I will sell the GTX for $6500 firm without the date coded 440 that I just rebuilt. This car needs a few patches here and there, not to mention quarters, but its an original Dana 4 spd car!! Give me a call if interested. Chris (920)422-1027
