Helping a customer of mine sell his Roadrunner..
1969 Plymouth Road Runner 383 air grabber 4 speed car. Car is above average driver quality and shows very nice. Repainted in 2004 B5 blue. It does have some paint chips and small scratches but it is driven and enjoyed. Bumpers are original, the grill has been replaced with a remanufactured one. Frame rails are in very good shape both front and rear. The pans in the car are decent but the drivers front floor has a small hole in it that has been addressed with some fiberglass by previous owner. The trunk pan has been replace with flat metal at one point. the trunk extension and in great shape. The trunk pans have been painted body color also. Has redline spare, original jack in the trunk as well. All the stainless is in good condition and all the lights and gauges work as they should.
The interior is very nice with a new dash pad, recovered bench seat, new headliner and very clean door panels. The gauges and blower motor and lighting all work as it should.
The 383 engine was rebuilt in 2002. It has a Comp Cams hemi gring cam, 906 heads, comp double roller timing chain, 750 Holley, new headers and electronic ignition. Air grabber is there and functional. Engine runs cool and has plenty of power!!
The transmission shifts great and has a McLeand clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing installed in 2015. Has a new Victory drive shaft, rear xhd Mancini rear springs and Dana 60 with 4.10 sure grip.
The front suspension was rebuilt in 2016 and also added SSBC front disc brakes. The Roadrunner has 275x15 tires on the rear and 15x8 wheels. the front is 15x6 with 225 series tires.
I also have plenty of documentation with the car. I have the Chrysler military sales order from the original owner when he was in Vietnam during the war. Also have the option check list, sticker price sheet, build sheet and the original loan agreement. The fender tag is however missing but can be issued with all of the documentation that I have.
Overall this is a beautiful driver/show car that get PLENTY of attention wherever it goes. Asking $28k OBO. NO TRADES
