I am listing this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner for a neighbor. He has had it a little under two years. He really loves the car, but it fits within an inch in his garage and just isn't practical. His wife says sell it and you can buy a 'Cuda or Challenger. The person he purchased the car from was going to make it a very mild 'pro street' style car. Hence the skinny/fat tire combo. But it was one of many cars owned and mostly sat. The previous owner installed the Wilwood front disk kit, Mopar aluminum master cylinder, Hurst line-lock and new brake lines. He also rebuilt the front suspension & K-member. My neighbor intended to do a complete cosmetic restoration and either keep it mild or stock. The engine is a 383 of unknown origin. It runs well, makes good power and does not smoke. It has an electronic ignition, Holley 3310 750 cfm carb and Performer intake. It has a recent exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The column shift 727 was rebuilt less than 100 miles ago (have receipt) and has an 11" converter. The 8 3/4" has a 3:91 ratio with Sure Grip. The car has no power steering or power brakes. The car has no fender tag. The car needs a complete interior. It comes with original carpet, two front buckets, a rear bench of unknown origin and that’s about it. Some of the wiring needs to be connected for the dash. My neighbor had a BRAND NEW fuel tank and fuel sending unit installed (have $850 receipt for that). Now for the best part ~ my neighbor just had it painted. He also had the bumpers rechromed. The car is black and quite straight. This was about a $4000 paint/body job. Beep-Beep horn accounted for & working :unitedstates: Asking $15k. Car is located in Southern California. You can PM me with questions, more pictures, a short video of the car running and more contact info. Please call Greg at 949-872-3456.

Nice car, but one of my favorite things about the `68 is the little round side marker lights!.

Car was just painted and had steel patches done ~ hasen't even had the holes drilled or final buff done yet (letting it cure).

please be very careful, I wouldn't go DRILLING any holes that size in anything with a finish paint job. Those holes were stamped out of the metal prior to any paint. Trying to put holes that size in now will generate a lot of heat and likely mess up the paint.
My 2 cents.

Thanks for the heads up ~ his bodyshop guy told him he had the tools to do the job properly.

If it doesn't sell quick and he needs parts to finish it off I have my fair share of extra 68 RR parts, and I just parted another. PM if interested

Hy guys this is my old Roadrunner. I sold it to the current owner a few years ago. I can attest that this car is clean. It still has it original trunk floor, the only patch is on the drivers side quarter where there was a dent and very little rust. I have pics of the floors in this car as well as the original paint that was on it when I sold it. This car is a great deal IMHO. Good luck with the sale

Thanks for the endorsement ~ its really appreciated.

The car is currently still available and open to any reasonable offers.

Nice car,but with all the paint work, why no black under hood?Of course being black,it won't be hard for the buyer to match!
