Hi need a photo of what the 68 Roadrunner brake shoes look like once you take the drum off, looks like I am missing parts. Thanks Phil

69 (1).jpg69.jpg
The adjuster is kinda cut off at the bottom . This is a front 1969 RR

Hi Thanks for the photo, so does the rear have the adjuster cable? My rear looked like your front, I havent looked at the front yet. Phil

So do we need the adjuster cable or no do you know? Its a pain to put on and not sure what spring holds it on, I have 11 im brakes. thanks Phil

11 inch brakes did not have the cable adjuster if I remember....you had to adjust those periodically by hand

Thanks, the 68 manual show a cable which goes to a plate which is in front of the adjuster wheel, been trying to attach no luck

you probably got a 10" cable on an 11" brake system

the cable and related self adjuster parts are only needed for adjusting the shoes to the drum while backing up and pressing the brake pedal....if you are comfortable getting under the car periodically and adjusting all the brakes with a brake spoon, then cable and related parts are not needed

X2 A383. No self adjusters on 11" brakes but you can put them on if you find the correct length cable.
