Just got my new headliner in from Year one (after waiting 5 weeks), and I think it is not correct. On the end where the rear glass is, the seam and tunnel for the headliner bow is at the end of the material. Also, there are 7 seams but the third one from the back has no 'tunnel' for the bow to go through. Is this correct? Doesn't look right to skip a bow at a seam if you understand what I'm saying. Are not the bows equal distance apart for the entire length? You help is greatly appreciated. It'll piss me off if I have to send it back and wait 5 more weeks, or return it and give someone else a shot. Thanks, Jerry

I don't recall the details but the 68 and 69 are different. My 69 uses those sail panels where my 68 was one piece.

Jerry, I had this exact problem...In fact you probably have the one they sent me that I returned. I called Year One and told that it looked totally wrong towards the back glass and the guy I spoke to looked it up and said that there were 2 types the one you have and an exact fit one... don't know if that was bullshit, but they sent me the right one, which fit great.

here was my original post

Thanks guys for your replies! I thought I was crazy. I'll call Year One today and get it on the way back. THe 68 and 69 headliners are different? I ordered a sail panel for mine as well.

If it were me I would send it back get a refund and then call up legendary interior and get a better quality piece prob cheaper to !:imho:

To late, called Year One and they will pick up my Headliner, and are shipping me another one from a different vendor. I'll know better next time. I'm still waiting (after 5 weeks) for my seat covers and dash speaker. They way I feel about it, if you don't have it on your shelf, ready to ship......then don't advertise it for sale. What do the guys that restore cars for a living do? Put their clients on hold for a month, or two???

I had a similar experience with Classic. They had my seat cover in their warehouse for a month, and when they finally shipped it out, it had the wrong inserts! So, I sent it back and got the correct one from Dante's. He knows these interiors and when you call, you are talking to the owner and not some salesperson that could care less if your project ever gets finished.
