You could get a 383-2bbl four speed car in 68. They are not common. The White book lists 55 1968 RP27 383-2bbl four speeds built for sale in the US.

I think you are referring to something called a "parade boot". not sure if they were ever made for mopars. someone else car to chime in? I found this link...maybe contact them and see if they make for Plymouth...most of what I have seen are for "C" bodies.
