For sale-
1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner
Real M code- A12. 440 6BBL
In the Lift Off Hood registry as the only (1 of 1) RM21 B7 Jamaica blue, automatic cars.
Finished in its original color combo, B7 over white interior and white vinyl top. Period correct drivetrain but not numbers matching. 35k original miles. Was drag raced most of its life with a Hemi in it. Still retains its 1972 Mass. drag strip sticker above drivers sun visor.
This car was returned to a street car in the 90s. I have photos of it throughout the 90s of its restoration. With that said, it presents very well but it was painted nearly 30 years ago. It’s a very straight no rust car. In direct sun the metallic has some blotching/striping which happens often in heavy metallic colors. The average eye doesn’t pick it up by I’m very fussy. Original body panels. Fender tag and all body numbers match (core support and trunk #). Original Dana 60, 4.10 gears, original 054 radiator, original 6BBL carbs, intake, air cleaner, metal base, manifolds, and lift off hood!
Mechanically restored. The Transmission is a fresh rebuild with a all good parts and a 5.0 kickdown lever so it will shift hard. Deep pan, with trans cooler. The convertor is a Hughes 3500 stall with heavy duty “HD” hub and spline. The 440 has a bigger cam - mopar purple cam shaft (296/296/557) but very street friendly. The car has an amazing sound coming through the new Accurate dual exhaust. The rest of the motor is a factory build/ and appearance. The car runs exceptionally well and never skips a beat.
The wheels are reproduction 15x6 steel wheels wrapped in like new Coker radial redlines. Rare factory tach, and it works! Beautiful interior needing nothing, great glass, gauges, weather stripping, grilles, bezels, and bright work. Mopar electronic ignition, new M&H wiring harness from year one. The frame and floors are original and beautiful shape. This car is ready to be enjoyed. I just had it at Chrysler Carlisle and drive it often! It’s a riot to drive and easy to enjoy as it’s not a fresh resto.
I have 100s of photos and walk around videos. I’m only considering selling as I’m looking for another 69 1/2 superbee. I’m in no rush and I don’t need to sell it.
Trades considered.
This car is located just outside of Rochester NY. I’m asking $115k obo. Walk around videos available for those serious. Thanks
