Does anyone know which 440 cars were equipped with the Prestolite dual point distributors? The 1969 service manual lists both the Chrysler and Prestolite units for the 440. I'm assuming the 4 speed cars got 'em? Any way to tell on the broadcast sheet? If my car was originally equipped with one ('69Coronet R/T 4 spd.), I'd like to replace it. Thanks!!!

I believe you are correct that only the 4 spd cars got them. No idea if it was coded on the broadcast sheet separately because maybe it was just part of the 4 spd engine package??

I have a 67 GTX four speed and it had one. Only 4 speeds had the dual point distributor.

Here is a picture of mine.
