1969 Dodge Charger Factory 383 big block....$7500.00

This is a California black plate rolling project. I have the black plates, vin plate, fender tag, and california title only in my name. The car has no engine, trans, front grill or guage cluster. It does have the 8 ¾ rear end but no center section. There is some minor rust at the very bottom of both rear quarters and at the bottom of the rear window, very common in these cars. The floors and frame are in excellent condition. The trunk floor has some surface rust but does not appear to need replacement. Otherwise this is a very solid central california car.

Vin# xp29h9b318873

fender tag
row 1- vif, 26, end
row 2- h51, j25, l31, m21, m31, r11
row 3- a01, b51, c21, c55, g11, g33
row 4- f5, c6g, f8, 312, 315783
r0w 5- e63, d32, xp29h9b318873

From the factory this car came with a 383 4bbl, 727 trans, 8 ¾ rear end, bucket seats with buddy seat, light package, power brakes, tinted glass, lh remote mirror, air conditioning, hood mount turn signals, drip rail moldings, body belt moldings, am radio, green vinyl top, and 26’ radiator. Green exterior with green interior. Feel free to pm me with any questions and i will post a link to my photo bucket with over 100 pictures soon. Thanks, Mike.

Pretty much just what you see....i have the side glass for the rear windows and some misc parts. Needs motor, trans, dash and front grill plus other misc parts. It's a good start for someone. We'll see where the price ends up. Thanks for looking.

I've been lookin for one, I too live in California... I would be interested in this car, but if your willing to come down on the price, if would take me a while and cost me a couple thousand to get the parts for this l. All around beautiful car tho
im 23 but I think this would be a awesome special project...

I guess I'm thinking that most of the missing parts can be purchased from suppliers and that most resto's would need these parts anyway. A motor and trans can be had for less than $2000.00 plus a rebuild. I have a friend that will sell his front grill (hidden headlights etc) and rally dash for less than 2K. So it seems that most of the stuff left like interior, body, paint, and bumpers would have to be done regardless of how complete your car is.
Maybe this is a better car for someone that has a complete charger that is rusted out???? I don't think that parting this car out is the way to go. But hey I'm open to your comments everyone. Thanks.

yah 2k for dash and grille, then you have about 700 in missing door panels alone. Missing glass, missing heater box. Rust repair of course, paint job, interior, bumpers, etc (brackets too), and your looking at being sunk with cost of car. 1000 in missing harnesses alone! It seems like its little stuff, but let me tell you how quickly that adds up. Bought a rusty charger for cheap and I'm over 30k for a car thats worth maybe 25k. And thats me doing the majority of the work. Chargers are the most expensive mopar to do. Aside from the pinnacle cars

No dash. Is there a correct title and vin for the car??? I agree with shamefulcuda. I have a money pit myself. 69 R/T Charger...

well im going to say, i like like the fact you came down on the price, and as well with all the pictures you took but i must say reading the other guys post man there right, this car to do would cost me a ton and put me in a hole chargers are $$$$$ pits even if you do a halfass job but if you cant find a buyer and need to sell the car fast im in at $2,500(please mike no insult intended) i just know that it would cost me an arm and leg, but im in at $2,500 and could be in sacramento in 24 hrs.. just throwing it out there, just let me know thanks mike

OOOOOKKKKK....well well....so I do have the dash frame with the vin plate attached and the correct title and the correct fender tag and current California title that matches and old California title that matches everything including the black plates. I do have the heater box and side glass and some bumper brackets and new $400 door panels in the box. I think that should about cover it. As for the price I will see where it sells....for $2500 i will put it in my storage and pull it out again in a few years and build it myself. Thanks for the comments but I have not seen any 69 Chargers in California in the past 10 years under 5K in any condition. Good luck to you guys finding one for $2500. I understand that this car is not for you, no problem. Thanks.

True... True.. Ya you should put it away and rebuild it there getting harder to find but from what I see in the pictures you don't have much body work to do...clean car

1969 DODGE CHARGER ROLLING PROJECT SACRAMENTO CA. PRICE DROPhttp://www.forbbodiesonly

*******price drop to $5900.00**********

I''m pretty certain $5000 would buy it and if I was a 23 yr old kid looking and thinking hard about it, I'd jump on it. When will you EVER find a 69 Charger for $5000?
Never again.
