I have a 1969 E series 440 HP engine and matching numbers torqueflight.

Engine is complete minus carb, dist, exhaust manifolds, & front dress. The trans appears to be a recent rebuild.

Pulled from a 1969 Chrysler 300 that suffered a fire. It was a strong running car up till then.

Engine build date is 10 29 68.

Perfect for a date correct 69 GTX, Coronet or Charger R/T. Or for a clone or tribute.

I'm looking for around $2800.00 for both engine and trans.

PM for more details or with questions....

Thanks, Will.

69 440 hp

..............is this a used engine or did u rebuild it...............kim.....

Thanks for asking Kim.
Rebuilt....? Not at that price. The seller said the engine was running and in use in a Chrysler 300, (original to the car). that suffered a fire. I do not know much about the history or backround of the engine and trans or have I ever heard it run. I purchased the entire car.
It may be a runner as is but I would concider it as a good core that likely will require building. The engine turns freely and the transmission appears to have been rebuilt recently.

The fact that it is an original 1969 E series 440 HP, with all matching date coded parts and the matching transmission makes it an attractive combo for a 69 GTX, or R/T missing the original engine. OR.... a clone or tribute.... OR.... Just a great hot rod.

The Chrysler also has a 8.75 3:23 sure grip still in it.
