Hi,I am a new member here and need some help on the correct color to paint a replacement console for my GTX.I bought the car from the original owner and would like to keep it as original as possible. The exterior color of the car is B3 ice blue. The interior code is B7.The console is a very dark blue. The only replacements I see are black so they will have to be painted to match the interior. The one in the car is cracked in several places so I don't think it can be repaired. Thanks in advance for any help. Glenn

The cracks most likely can be fixed. Check out Eastwood for some plastic repair kits. Interior paints can be found at Herb's parts.

The biggest problem with repairing the cracks it that the console has a texture or grain to it. If you get to crazy with the spot putty/glaze, it shows up as a big flat spot. Use very minimal filler and a pick to re-create the grain. It's tedious, but doable.

I had pretty good luck using a vinyl repair patch kit in conjunction with the plastic repair. As mentioned above, getting a grain effect is needed to avoid a smooth spot. While the plastic repair is still pliable you can use the vinyl repair kit to press in the closest match grain from the vinyl kit to the console grain.

It is broke completely through in two different spots, this was done installing new carpet. The console is very brittle, can it be repaired so you can't tell it has been repaired?
