1969 gtx

[1967 GTX]

Will be taking delivery of a 1967 GTX. Has build date of 9-19; question is the build date 9-19-66 making it a very early '67 or 9-19-67 making it a late 1967?
The engine is marked with a "C" so that indicates a 1967? When were 1967 GTX models first produced?

welcome to FBBO, If I remember correctly, most new year models were rolled out in Sept. of the the year prior to it's model year....

The 67 model year would have run from about August 1, 1966 to about mid July of 1967.
The earliest GTX I have on file is 909 (September 9, 1966) but I'm reasonably sure there were GTX's produced in August.
