I would like to know more about my paint code and its rarity. I'm hoping this is the right spot to ask questions. Its Omaha Orange. I've never seen another. Its a cali car.
I've had the entire interior out, Orange the whole way threw and clearly not V2 or Hemi orange. Any help would be great, Thx

Colors were not tracked for '69 so the production number is unknown.

Let's try and date the approximate scheduled production date (SPD). That may help us with color.
Does the car still have a fender tag? If yes, does the car code 99 for paint?
What is the SPD?
If there is no tag, we can estimate the SPD by the VIN.
We don't need the whole vin number. Just get us close.
Even RM(21/23/29)(H or J)9(A,E,G) 123*** is enough. If it's a California car, it's likely it was from the LA Plant ( E in the VIN)

C17 definably puts it into the time of Omaha Orange.
While not common, it's not particularly uncommon either. There seem to be a high percentage of Omaha Orange cars from the LA plant.

Are you sure your VON is 625973 and not 925973?
Also, your F63 is E63. H9F would be H9E.

A 925 VON would be typical of an LA built 99 paint code car.
