I have been mostly in the 3rd gen B body cars for the past 15 years. I know them well. I have my eye on a 69 RR project. I dont know the fair price for something like this. Give me some idea what is fair?

I drove a 1969 Sat 4 door in my youth. Spanish Gold car. This 69 RR will be a keeper, not a flip.

It is a 383 4 speed car with factory air. Original drivetrain is with the car. Bench seat post car. it is mostly apart, new quarters and wheel houses are already on it. Still needs a trunk pan. Body is mostly in primer. car is apart. I have not seen it in person, yet.

Any idea of what they're asking? Does it come with all the interior? Seats, panels, bumpers, window moldings, glass, dash components, etc? That stuff can add up fast. Wonder how good they did with the metal repair. I'm guessing they're probably asking around 15K but let us know.

It really depends on how complete the cars is. What's missing? Can you post a picture of the fender tag? Is the drivetrain the original? Does the Cessna come with it?

I am told all the parts are there. Interior needs full replacement of soft parts. I can assume it needs a rebuild of everything. If anyone can decode the fender tag it might help explain why Y2 is listed twice. Y2 is yellow, there is yellow on the underside. Wonder what color the interior was? I am pretty excited about doing this car.

Awesome. I hope if works out for you. Check it over good and make sure the vins match too. I wanted a road runner but was out of my budget. Got a 69 Satellite instead. I've been looking around for months and haven't seen a running driving road runner pre 1971 for less that $22,000 or so. Seen a few without drivetrains for around 13-15K that were in decent shape body wise. They aren't cheap these days unless you happen to get lucky!

That car was advertised last year & I contemplated it. A 4-speed post car with a/c would be cool, but personally, I'm done with full restorations and piecing back a puzzle of a car with mucho missing pieces. Been there, done that too many times. But that's just me. Good luck.

A post car with original 4 speed drivetrain? Yes, please.
Ok, strictly monetarily speaking:
Although it will be almost impossible to do, I'd still make the effort to price up everything
you know the car is missing and see just how much it will take to put it back together -
then compare that to what the finished product is worth on todays' market.
Real numbers, not "famous auctions" numbers...
Good luck!

Wonder what color the interior was?
It has a black bench seat interior. 26 inch radiator.
I am to the point in my life that I am not going to do another full resto. But if I was looking... If the body numbers match, and the quarters & wheelhouses were installed correctly and not needing to be redone, I personally wouldn't give more than 10K for it. I wouldn't be shocked if somebody offered 15K for it however. Prices on these project B-bodies have gone through the roof the last couple of years.
