I have a 69 RR with a/c. the question I have is that I have the vent hose running from the junction box under the dash to the passenger side dash vent. Is there some sort of a trim piece that goes under the dash that holds the vent hose up and hides the heater box and its valving?

Yes, and per usual, I cannot find it in the manual. It is about 15" wide, about 10" deep, and approximately 2.5"-3" in height. It is made of a dark colored (brown/black) fiberglass material, and is held on with 2 nuts on studs or bolts, directly on the bottom under the control valving and humidity switch.

so, it basically hides everything under the dash? any ideas where I can buy one?

I think I still have one. I will check tonight, and if I do, I will let it go for the insane price of $10 plus shipping...
