Hi from the UK! - after being a member for a while I've finally managed to get myself a B Body!
Car is a 1969 Plymouth Satellite Sport wagon with manual drums.
The car will be picked up for shipping to the UK shortly, & to save on shipping costs (for the parts) I want to buy a complete kit to upgrade to Power Brakes with discs to go in the trunk.

I've read a lot about kits from Rightstuff, Performance Online, Summit, Speedway Online, Magnumforce etc but I would like your combined opinion on the best kit for quality, value & ease of fitting as I cant pop into my local NAPA if something is missing or gets broke while I'm part-way through!

I'm looking at complete kits - ie, everything from the bulkhead to the rotor/caliper hardware inc Master Cylinder, booster, proportioning valve etc as I read that as my car is a factory manual drum car, most kits are designed for it.

Hope you can help!
Thanks
Paul

Thanks Propwash. I'm not so concerned about originality, more on useability/fitting etc as its going to be a daily driver once over here in the UK.
The shipping (of the car) is a scary cost so I was looking to spend up to $700 on a kit with 'off the shelf' availability as the car ships from the US in around 10 days
- Update: I've now found out that the Cragars fitted are 14" so it looks like discs are out for the moment. I've seen kits to 'upgrade' the drums - anyone any experience of them?

Wayne Brown, a/k/a The Ram Man sells complete disc brake kits like the ones on 73 - 76 A bodies. They will fit 14" rims.

Thanks CoronetDarter - I've dropped him a line to see if he has one on the shelf

Update: Have had an email from theramman and he is out of my price range.
I'm speaking to americanbrakeandsteering over on ebay about the kit he offers for $825

- Anyone had any dealings with him or the kit offered? Promises it will fit my 14" Cragars

Thankyou

After reading many other threads, I've got in touch with Doctor Diff as he states clearly that his kit will fit 14" rims & the spec has smaller rotors than others (10.95 rotors as opposed to the 11.25 rotors on other offerings).

Any feedback from you guys on the parts please?

Very nice long roof. I would be very nervous about shipping loose parts in the car due to theft in shipment.

Never thought I'd say this about a four door wagon but that is a cool car! Very nice! And good luck with your front disc choice. I went with SSBC A-156 but it's more money than you want to spend and I'm not all that happy with their kit anyway.
