I recently purchased a one owner matching number 69 sport satellite 383/4 4spd. Rp23h9g It is a factory no center console bucket seat car. Galen says 401 were produced. I am guessing a bunch got used up and even more were cloned out. Anyone track "survivors"? If there is any one else who owns one out there pls hit me up Please use PM's for contact.

Nice cars. They are an upscale RR or a Junior GTX.

I have two RP23H9 four speed cars on file from the LR plant and one from STL. Is this F5 with A36 or a different one? If it's a different car...I track 69 STL built cars and would love to know more.

If you were responding to my post...no. I do not know who owns them. I only have data tag info.

Nice find. Four speed SS are NOT common. I would strongly encourage you to keep the car 'as built'. I'd like to point out the orange 335 horse engine. That is the appropriate engine assembly for a '69 B body four speed non a/c car. This car has a RR drive train with upgraded interior and trim. It will be far more 'special' as it is than heavily customized or cloned into something it's not.

I agree. Keep this car original. I love the cars that were not ment to be muscle cars and people ordered all the muscle
with the lower priced family car model. I have a few cars that came with flat hoods and 383 with 4 speeds. No scoops. no rallye dashes, grandma cars with additude.

Thanks guys. I am definitely restoring it as what it is. The original owner is a friend of a friend. Took 5 years for him to accept he could no longer drive a clutch car due to old age. Had every piece of paper ever associated with the car. Original dealer "build sheet" is cool. I will photo it. Unfortunately he, like many others, held onto the factory build sheet for the wrong car all gear years! They threw in one for a 318 ss, probably one ahead of this one. Any "one stop" shop place to try to get that to the right guy? Still have some valve train noise to work through. But hopefully that will be lifters from sitting Thanks again. If anyone needs anything from jax fl hit me up

Nice car you have there.

I have a '68 383/4spd SS convertible and you're right, there are not many around.

If it was a 70' only 114 four speed 383 cars that year! Found one for sale last year but it needed a ton of work and he wanted 8k for it so I passed it up !

My parents bought a new 68 Sport Satty 383 4bbl 4 speed,
GG1 forest green poly, with a white vinyl top & Bucket seat interior,
it was my moms grocery getter, for about 10 years,
then my driver all around car for another 10 or so years

sorry no photos, I didn't see many 68-69 Satty's with 383ci 4bbl 4 speeds either,
still don't, mostly all had 318's & TF 904
I called it a poor mans GTX {or maybe woman's in this case...LOL}

Thought you would enjoy this. Original purchase agreement. 42.35 for a posi. Any idea what the 23.25 HD susp pckg got you? Someone passed on that the round top radiator probably means it had the standard 3.23 gear. 3557.83 out the door !

I took delivery of a new 69 Sport Satellite hdtp in June of that year. I special ordered it a month earlier pretty much loaded with 383, auto, A/C, console, 6-way seat, light pkg w/ deleted fender lights, Alpine white paint with black bucket seats & black vinyl top, stripe delete. Maybe a few other options. Still have the window sticker but, unfortunately not the car. Have always been on the lookout for it, but never have found it. I owned it seven years and during all that time never saw another 2 dr 69 SS. They are not common. My love of that car and its shape is what drove me to buy & restore a 69 GTX that I still have.

A friend (actually 2 friends - same car) of mine owned a '69 Sport Sat, 383 4-spd, it was B5 blue with matching interior. It was a California car.
