Here is a 1970 340 out of my Friend
Gregg's (RIP) shop.
It is the steel Crank and the 496 Full floating rods.
It has all the accessories pictured including the factory HP
camshaft and double roller chain.
It has timing cover/pan /water pump/ fuel pump/Motor mounts/
dampner/ pulley/ brackets etc.
I do not know a thing about it other than what I can see
looking at it.
If it was mine, I could give you complete details = But it would
be twice as much in price or more.
That is why I have priced it for such a low price and
it is AS IS and sold as a core and I understand that
it is a bit of a gamble like most used engines.
It has some very minor surface rust and gunk you get around a
machine shop for 50 years.
it would easily rebuild at .02 in my best guess from just looking at it. It does not
appear to have a lot of miles on it.
3 05 70 Casting
Complete with everything but Heads. I have some J and other HP heads available
but for additional money that are not originally from this particular
engine.
I will deliver it for free in So. Cal or So Nevada or
take it to the races next couple of weeks for delivery.
I will pallet and take it to shippers for Free if needed.
