FOR SALE 1970 440 HP block

1970 440 block, std bore, but needing a bore. Casting date 7-31-69, build date 3-19 (70) surprisingly late. Block has been tanked and stored with antirust spray. Main caps are bolted on. No known damage. Vin # is either poorly stamped or machined off. Crank and std rods and some bolts included. Matching 70 906 heads available at extra cost.
$1300 ex Seattle area.

Can you see the vin at all?

its there but only the top 1/3rd of the numbers can be read. So you are really just guessing on vin.

Thank you for the quick reply. Trying to decide what to do. 383 4 speed took a dump. Need a short block. I’ll speak to my engine guy tomorrow. Nice to know I have options
