how do you tell a 70 inner tube from a 68-69 inner tube..i hear they are different
if you can tell me specifically what the difference is that would be great and a measurement would help also..hoping there is some knowledge out there..thanks!!!

no answers? I have two steering columns (actually three but that is another story). One is pre 70 and the other is a 70, both floor shift. I will try and remember to measure them tomorrow. But I have a question. Since the inner tube is basically for column shift IO believe, is it necessary for a floor shift? Or is the inner tube for protection (dirt, grime, etc)? Actually, think I will start another post.
