I built this car for my daughter. She has decided to move on to a newer car. It's time to sell.
1970 Coronet with original 318 automatic
New, rebuilt or newish:
entire suspension and steering including torsion bars
4 wheel disc brakes
transmission has been rebuilt
rear end is new to this car and has been rebuilt 3.73 limited slip
Dakota digital dash and new dash harness
starter, alternator, power steering pump, steering box upgrade to firmfeel 2, wiper motor and linkage all rebuilt
engine compartment a/c upgrade, original a/c heater box and switches rebuilt
all weather stripping new
new 4 barrel intake and carb with electric choke
gas tank is new
viper alarm with keyless entry
I'm sure there's more....
not new:
The engine itself has not been gone through. It runs great and fires up easily
The paint and body. I haven't touched it and don't know what's under the paint. There are a few bubbles between the back window and the trunk lid
but frame rails are solid
someone ran into me the other day, and dinged the bumper...ugh
This car has a flat hood that scoops have been added to.
I have taken this car on several long trips, and drive it several times a week.
Buy it, fly in and drive it home
