What is the correct placement of the spare tire in a 1970 GTX when the spare is a road wheel?

Seems that the standard steel wheel is placed face down and the jack hook and base are put on top of it in the center? (Makes it hard to check the air pressure with the wheel face down.)

Unless one was ordered special the spare would have been std steel regardless what was on the car.

Thank you for the info, that was what I thought, the spare was always a steel wheel. Let me check my build sheet and see if it has anything on the type of spare wheel.
