WTB 1970 dash reverse lamp harness

Looking for the dash reverse lamp harness for a 70 with the ground wire. If it’s the whole deal that’s ok but needs to be from a 70

The lamp housing itself is grounded to the dash frame. What ground are you referring to?

Not on a 70 it mounts to the
Plastic. That’s why I said 70 only

If that's the case just make a ground up and use the older 1 wire harness. All the 70 must of done used was a simple ground on the socket and a short lead to the dash frame. You could also solder a short lead to the metal bulb housing. I do not think there is any aftermarket that covers this. None that I have seen.

doesn’t the nut on the light socket contact the dash frame from behind? No wait there’s an oval cutout behind the plastic now that I recall the only difference in the 68-69 vs 70 is a short wire ground wire to the dash frame.
Like pandora said you could easily get a repop and solder a short piece to the socket with a ring lug crimped on it and you’d be set

Yes I could make something work but after all the money I’ve spent making this car right I’m not about to make it work. I want the original stuff and that’s kinda why I posted looking for the right part and not how do I make it work

Totally understand that maybe someone will hook you up with an original
