WTB 1970 date code 440

I am looking for a 440 RB block for my 71 RR project. The date code needs to be 1970 (F) as I want to try to restore this with period correct parts. I believe the casting code is 2536430. If you have one let me know and what you want for it.

71 RR would not be a "F" year block. F is a 1970 year block. You need a "G" date code block.

Casting date can be older, the Letter will tell you what year the engine was used.

Check your fender tag to see when your car was built. Then try & get a "G" code block that was casted before that date.

Casting dates can go way back. I have Jan 70' casting date in a Aug 7' 1971 440(1972 model year)As well as a 1974 HP 440 block with a 1971 casting date.
