Hi,

Im looking for this Brochure:
d718a829be5b3d5efa0eaa70c2dc6df6.jpg

If you have but dont want to sell scans would also do if readable as the content is what im mainly interested in.

Also does someone know if they built any 2 door police package coronets with the 440 in 1970? I know most police cars are 4 doors but they (dont know if dodge but ford for example did for sure) also built a few 2 doors which are very rare of course. But dont know if they built any 2 door 1970 dodge coronets with police package and 440. :)

There are some fans of police cars on FCBO. Also, maybe @Pete Kaczmarski can point you to someone.

I contacted an eBay retailer that sells a lot of automotive brochures/etc. I'll let you know if he replies to my request. I am one of his customers.

Sorry, I double checked and do not have that brochure.

Thank you for double checking.

I bought it earlier today. I should have it in hand by early next week. @Michael_ and I have been trading PM's today.

Yes i just replied to your message. :)

It's on its way!

Interesting brochure!

Thanks for sending me both the scans and the physical brochure!
The Brochure answers the additional question from the original post.

YES it looks like they built 2 door/coupe versions of the 1970 dodge coronet police cars.
At least coupes get clearly mentioned in the brochure.

But according to the brochure the coronet was only offered with a 383 as largest engine,
unlike the polara which could also be had with a 440 engine.
That kind of sucks but this engine still produces 330hp which aint slow at the end of the day.

Anybody knows of a 1970 coronet police car that was special ordered with a 440?
Was there such thing or is the 383 really the biggest engine they ever put in a police coronet that year?

There are probably more police car experts and buffs on FCBO than FBBO.

Pete Kaczmarski is probably the best guy to answer your questions. He is on both forums mentioned above.

Back in the 1960s and 1970s my local police and state police used the Plymouth Fury I with the 440-4V. Some administrators / non-police govt dept and Fire Dept cars had 383s in their Furys. I used to go to Virginia State Police car auctions in the early/mid 1970s. Those were sealed bid auctions!!! If I recall correctly, the highest winning bid I ever saw was $850. It was a nice, unmarked '72 Fury I. Black exterior with a blue interior and a perfect body. The marked cars always sold for much less because the buyer was obligated to repaint the car per the sales agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I just signed up at FCBO and asked the same question over there. :)
