No, no dana. Whoever ordered this car originally did it on the cheap - post, no radio, bare bones. I don't see anything on the fender tag (A33, A34) about the dana. I think most of the 109 cars were ordered with dana's which may make this one even more rare. The D21 is HD 4 speed manual - not sure if 18 Spline.

I don't think you could have ordered a 4 speed, 6 pack car in 70 without a dana. I could be wrong though.

will send you a PM

This fender tag will not specify A33 or A34. The axle code is 083 on this fender tag. 083 = 3:54 Dana. 676 is the trans code=18 spline

Thanks Cris. Was looking for a Lynch Rd decoding source but I could not find one for the 150. Still a beautiful car though.

150 - 440 6-BBL, manual trans., heater, 390hp, Orange, (late)
083 - 3.54 s/g, Dana 60, 10" rear drum - front disc, (A33 Pkg)
676 - 833 4-speed Manual, 426 Hemi & 440 engines, (18 spline)
Stupid me, I didn't know what those number meant until now. Thanks for enlightening me, but this car still doesn't have a dana - previous owner(s) either broke it or wanted a souvenir. Can anyone tell by the transmission numbers if it is a 18 spline?

OMG!!!!!! I just looked at this post again and started to think that the vin looked familiar. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION AND PROBABLY THE DANA IN MY GTX!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY S@#$ .
WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO ABOUT IT?????? GOD MAYBE I NEED TO BUY THIS SUPER BEE!!!!!

Wow. Definitely about the same as finding a needle in a haystack. Maybe it is an omen for you to buy this car?

That is really interesting. It would be cool to put this back to original. Wonder if the person you bought the transmission from has the original engine block. This story is getting better. Also wonder if the tranny in my car was you original and maybe I have your original dif. Lets talk sometime.

Well..I wish you did have the original trans to my car. That would be way too easy. I have a 67 Hemi GTX that came out of Texas many years ago. Obviously your Super Bee and my GTX crossed paths somehow. Maybe someone was parting out your Super Bee and somebody bought the trans and Dana to replace the missing pieces on the GTX I now own. I remember seeing the GTX that I now own, here in Phoenix about 30 years ago as it was being unloaded off a trailer to go to a collector car auction. It had the 4 speed and dana in it at the time, so I'm thinking your Super Bee has been missing the original trans and rear axle for quite some time. At that time the GTX was owned by a gentleman from Texas with the last name of Brandt. He collected Hemi and 6 -pack cars.
Right now my GTX is in several pieces and the transmission is sitting on a little cart next to the refreshed Hemi. I had hoped to find the car that this trans originally came out of so I could reunite them. I placed an ad on this web site back in February but I guess you never looked and saw it. I would like to trade it for a trans that is not a 1970 trans so it would more closely resemble what my car originally came with. If you can round up a 1968 or 69 18 spline trans we could work something out.
Obviously it would be nice to just buy your Bee but that might be a little bit of a stretch at the moment. Just like the story of baby Jesus.. The inn is full right now!! 5 mopars shoved in a 4 car garage. Of course I'm not completely ruling it out either....
