1970 Dodge SuperBee 383 Rear end

If you have a 489 case, that’s a good start. Other than that, I’m not sure.
 
No "VIN Numbers" on a rear end, so you need to start with the build sheet - it will list the part number for the rear along with the gear ratio. Actually, it will show the last 3 digits such as 489 or 742. Then you can check the date code on the rear. I know Dana's where date stamped on the rear end housing tube, not sure about 8.75 rears, but I suspect that might have been.
 
I’ve never seen a date stamp on an 8 3/4. Build sheet or fender tag should show what rear end it came with.
