I have a friend with a '70 SuperBee, he says the brake drums on my '70 GTX should be red? Is red brake drums correct for a '70 GTX?
only if you had the factory optioned rims installed. Mine RR came with Magnum 500s from the factory and the face of all four brake drums were painted red
I used a rattle can of Universal Red from O'Reilly Auto Parts. So, with all that said, what is the correct color red? I just watched an episode of Graveyard Carz today. Mark showed a can of Rustoleum that he said is very close to the original red used at the factory. I have to "assume" that Carousel Red, is what he used.

I came across this thread and would like to add a pic I took off my unrestored MN Gold car. 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 4BBL ConvertableFord engine Red if I'm not mistaken.. is what I used after being told that was close.. and then I cleared the entire drum to prevent rusting.
