1970 Plymouth Road Runner
Little bit of history on this one
My Father and I found this car in the late 80s when we got lost in Clifton. In a backyard covered by a weathered tarp one headlight peeked out. My Father knew it was a 70 Roadrunner. We walked up to the door knocked and two hours later it was on a trailer bound for our shop. When we found it, it was already turned into a late 70s Love Machine/Custom Show Car just very faded. Much like the vans of the late 70s era. Skyjacker shocks, ladder bars, over-size Crager SS rims with Mickey Thomson tires, side Cherry Bomb exhaust, and lastly Barefeet petals. The paint was mixed with heavy metal flakes.
Together we located parts from all over. The only area that was damaged was the driver side quarter. The entire panel (both inner and outer) was replaced. Back in our shop we restored it from the ground up.
VIN RM23N0A157917 (original 383 powered car)

This Roadrunner has had a professional rotisserie restoration. The entire car was taken down to the last bolt and restored up. Since 2002 this car has been used in magazine write-ups to test new parts for Mopars. Over the years different carbs, exhaust systems, brakes, and tires and rims have been on this car. Currently it has on it one of the first reproduction Mopar Performance 440 6Pak set-up, a pre-production Be-Cool radiator system for B body, March pulley system, TTI headers and exhaust system.
