Working on a customer's 1970 GTX that was missing the radio when he bought it. He bought this radio that he was told was a 1970 B body. It is not fitting so I need to check on it. I can't find this part number in my 70-71 FPM but it is listing radio packages which I'm not sure is the same part numbers. Need help from the 70 peeps.
Many thanks.

70 a body I think....70 b body has black buttons not chrome...I have one

Yes that’s A body.

The B body has the buttons with the hollow on top, and the plastic lens comes out from the front of the radio about 1/2”. The plastic is blacked out and you tilt the radio up to see the dial numbers, because that’s how it mounts in the dash.

See the pins on the front and the threaded bolt holes to mount it.

The rear stud is on the passenger side and the rwdio rear bracket is welded to the dash frame, runs from top to bottom of the dash, has a u shape notch for the stud.

Okay thanks guys. This helps a lot. Have the wrong radio. Yes the dash frame brace has the notch for the radio stud but when I put this radio's stud in the notch then the face doesn't fit into the bezel.

1 year only for the 70
