For years I have gathered information and pictures-details-etc on Mopars...Especially 70 Super Bees and in doing so I have many original articles from late 1969 & 1970 showing 70 Bees & R/Ts Road Tests Articles what have you etc. with the 15" silver 10 hole "Rallye" wheels WITHOUT the Lt Argent center trim caps! They have the correct POLISHED trim rings & the tall chrome acorn lug nuts....so with that being said would that not make ones car correct ALSO WITHOUT the center caps since the proof is in dated pictures?

It's been a question in the back of my mind for years!

I also have seen 70's with FLAT(Blah) chrome hood pin escutcheon bezels rather than Domed, shown in a factory 70 Challenger R/T Public sales Ads.

I realize that that would not be something on a broadcast sheet. BUT I have seen quite a few different 70's Challengers, Chargers, even Darts etc this way.

I noticed the same thing when I had my 70 Bee. Lots of pics without centers and also lots without rings. Some with one but not the other, Some with neither. Got into a bit of an argument with one of my more "by the book" type friends over it, and had to collect and produce evidence. Easier now with internet. Maybe it was a 15" issue. Sorry I have no answer, but I did "win" the argument.

You sure you don't want to just sell me that gorgeous white and blue Bee and not have to worry about it?

Thanks but no sale...I have made that mistake in the past and live with it daily.
It took me 30 years to find this combo. I would rather have had the Ramcharger hood, but think I can live with Factory Air Conditioning and power bulge hood.

Also I think it was a 15" issue also as I do not recall seeing any 14" ers shown that way.
