hi,my horn would occasionally beep when I turn steering wheel when I drive. it doesn't matter left or right. I took steering wheel off to check and as I put wheel back on and tightened retaining nut it started to constantly beep.if I loosened retaining nut and pulled steering wheel forward the beeping would stop.any ideas? thanks

Horn button is the relays ground. Check the wheel on the clock spring under the steering wheel.
The little wheel is part of the turn signal switch and should move in and out when pushed on.
If pushing the wheel in on the turn signal honks the horn check the turn signal switch for a bare or pinched wires.

I had the same problem with my 70 RR. I found that the thin brass ring under the switch with the ground wire on it was missing the plastic or nylon (whatever it was) insert that goes around the inside ring. It was shorting out and causing the horn to sound all the time. I rigged it up with some electrical tape and it worked. Now I am trying to find a new brass ring. Or a better fix.

I think that may be my issue as well. I wont be able to check for a few weeks, thanks for replying
