I have a 70 Roadrunner that was sitting for a loooong time, now it seems there is noise in the rearend and transmission. Can you recommend someone trusted who would be able to rebuild these for me? I am in Pa......Thanks Brian

Jamie Passon at Passon Performance. His speciality is 833 transmission.

Where in pa?

Dang....before I laid out that kind of cash, I would want to drain/replace the fluids in both the read end (w/posi additive if appropriate) and the transmission. Both use gear lube in 1970 (no posi additive in transmission), PLUS, take a really hard look at my u-joints & re-grease them too (if you have fittings on them).

brewers performance is the only way to go

I know a guy in western pa (Butler) that is excellent, but that’s a few hours away. If Passon is near you I would trust them.

Call Jamie Passon.
Don’t waste your time with the other guys.
Jamie did the 4 speed conversion on my 70 RR. Did excellent work, very meticulous, used one of his rebuilt trannies.

Are you sure both are making the noise? Sound travels through the drive line and can be deceiving.
