Have a 1970 B Body RoadRunner that I would like to put an aftermarket column on. However I am not finding anything available, they all seem to stop at 1969 as far as fitment goes according to the manufacturers like Ididit and Flaming River. So what gives here? Is it just wiring, physical fitment, to short, no one had a definite answer for me.

Thanks for your help!

I could have sworn Ididit or Flaming River had a column with a key that would work with my 70 Road Runner - only problem is you need to start using a GM key.

Does the key on column create a fitment issue? This car is being redone ground up, custom built dash, efi, completely rewired top to bottom. Not trying to retrofit it into old wiring.

I was told there would not be any problems fitting it, but I can't vouch for that - I used my original steering column.

Man i sure wish i wasn't the first one to appear to attempt this lol
