I have a 70 RR RM21 code. Clear Kentucky Title. Car is in Chicago now. I bought the car from Kentucky back in April but my heart is really in a 69 superbee as my dad had one when I was a kid. It's a RM21 code coupe. Looking to get $12,500. Has Popout back windows, Non matching numbers car but the fenger tag, radiator tag, trunk drip rail, dash vin all match. Original color is vit-C orange and now the interior, well carpet, door panels and headliner are black. It has been painted a few times. Looks like it was painted light blue at one time. The motor is a 440 magnum big block out of a 71 roadrunner so I was told by the guy I bought it from. 727 auto trans in the column but now has a B & M shifter in the floor. 456 rear end. The guy I bought it from said he was preparing to get it ready to be a track race car. So it has racing bucket seats in the front, no back seats, fiberglass hood(hood is no good as it was like that when I bought it), trunk, and bumpers. All of which I don't care for that much. It has ps and power brakes. Since I've owned him, JR(name I gave him) has been sitting in the garage and I start him up once a week. Last week however when I started him he makes a weird noise like something came loose. I plan on investigating this noise to see what's going on. I have purchased a bulge hood and hood springs and front bucket seats all of which will come with the car. Overall the car is very solid but it could use a little tlc. The interior could use touching up. It "did not" come with a build sheet when I purchased it. I'm not sure if the dash gauges work or the guy I bought it from disconnected them. Im sure I left some things out and if there are any additional questions just shoot me PM and I'd be glad to answer them. I can take more pictures if needed. Thanks. I did do a fender tag decode and this is what I came up with:

Bumpola for a nice '70....

what did JR let loose?? any vids of him running??

what did you find out ,and whats wrong with the glass hood :thinker:

Not sure but think I spun a bearing, oil pump broke, or broke a ring cap. No vidoes of J.R. running. He's been sitting in the garage since April. Problem happened from just starting h up once a week.

Fiberglass hood is cracked in like 3 places. It was like that when I bought it.

Any non mopar trades?

yep

buddy of mine has a 78 malibu, 84 hurst olds cutlass, and 85 regal. what do you have to trade? will put up pics if interested. PM me. thanks
Any non mopar trades?

As Mar said, Bumpola for a nice '70.... Its to me, a little more then nice! but good luck, way out of my reach.

finally got JR up on lift and discovered a nut in the bottom of the bell housing in trans. Motor is fine. any suggestions to what this nut goes to inside trans? torque converter?

Hey I have the same car as you - RM21N0E, but 432 cars later (or at least the sequence number is 432 higher if that's what that means). Roughly the same options - but I got the 8 Track baby!

Interesting...

wow that's kool. did u have a build sheet in yours? or was yours tossed like most from the LA plant. here's a pic of J.R. Ewing(my RR's name).

mine is not numbers matching anymore:icon_scratch: I like the 440 guy put in it and 456 rear end. but he was in the process of making it a track only race car and took original seats out. GRRRR!!!! Is your's numbers matching? how long have u owned it and do u have any pics?

any help w this rattling noise (idle only) that is coming from transmission? took little faceplate off and found a nut (5/16th, or 1/4) in bottom of bell housing. it's an auto 727 i believe. just started making this noise a few months back. It hasn't been out the garage since i bought it. just been starting JR up to circulate things.
