Hi, Kids. A friend of mine has a 1970 Roadrunner for sale. The car itself is in Central Florida just off I-95. If anyone is interested I can get details. I can vouch for this guy, too. I bought my 1967 Dart from him and also a 2000 Crown Vic Police Interceptor (Wheeeee!). Thanks in advance. W

police cars = no tickets on the interstate:tongueflap:

I'm sure there would be a LOT of people interested if we knew anything about it:edgy:

Is it a parts car, project, driver, or a show car?
Is there an Engine? If yes, what size?
Is there a transmission? If yes, 4-speed or automatic?
What size rear end?
What color is the exterior body?
What shape is the body in?
Original panels?
Any bondo? If yes, how much & where?
What color is the interior?
What shape is the interior in?
Does it need anything?
Asking price?

Not trying to bust your balls or anything, but at the very least a quick description, a price, and the location (which you surprisingly provided) should be the bare minimum in a for sale thread.

Ask and ye shall receive! Contact Rick at [email protected] and all your questions will be answered. I put this up to see if there might be some interest before I before I posted his e-mail. Can't be too careful these days, y'know. So...talk to Rick. He's in Titusville, FLA and he's real good people. Yer welcome.

I'm sure everything is fine, but somehow it just seems like the easy thing to do would be to post about the car, rather than post a teaser (on your first post) then post someone else's contact info to find out about it.

Like you said....you can't be to careful these days

It's definately a waste of time (for both the potential buyers & the sellers) if you're looking for a project car and you make a long distance call to someone selling a show car (and vice~versa).

Geezus, you guys are tough! (A) I asked if anyone might be interested in the car BEFORE I posted up my buddy's info on the WWW. (B) After said interest was shown, I posted an e-mail addy where you could ask all the questions about the car that your little heart desired. No long distance phone calls, no middle man, no he-said-she-said. Easy enough? Did any one of you actually talk to Rick or are you just breaking me down for fun? Anyway, a big THANKS to you guys who are cosidering Rick's Roadrunner. Even if you're not, pass on his e-mail. The next guy may want it. And THANKS to FBBO for letting me post up.

Just stating the obvious, not "breaking you down for fun".

A quick description and a photo (or two) would do wonders for the interest alone.

I just think it is hard for anyone to really consider a car they know nothing about.
Granted it's easy enough to write an e-mail asking about the car, however you would think Rick would get tired of answering the same 15 qeustions that everyone is going to ask and sending the same photos to everyone.

Yes I have sent Rick an e-mail and I haven't heard back yet.

I got an e-mail and looked a couple photos over pretty well.

It's a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner RM21 code coupe rolling chassis/shell.
Looks like the typical project with plenty of mis-matching, incorrect, & missing parts.
Has flat hood on it
Missing brake (brake/clutch) pedal(s)
Has both auto & floor shift steering columns.
Needs all floor pans & trunk floors
Frame rails are good
Has 8-3/4" rear under it
Dash is an A/C unit
Looks like it was a 4-speed car?
No interior
Has a clear FL title

Asking $3,200.00
