Hey guys! Got a question. I got a 70 RR. (See Pics in my garage). The front grill is mostly gone. I have been looking at eBay for one that is complete. I found an original one for about $300 with all the trim but a few cracks, broken tabs, but looks ok. Then I see the new re-pops for $420 that are perfect but looks like some don't have the little mounting holes for the Plymouth name badge.
What are the opinions out there? Has any one bought the re- pop and been happy with it? Should I just get the original and be ok with it being not perfect?

By the way, with my car I got 3 Of the metal brackets that go below the grill that hold the smaller grill. They are all in pretty good shape, I'm keeping the best, but what do you think is a fair price for one? I don't see them for sale much.

Haven’t had experience with reproductions. But as far as original, a grill for 300 better be close to perfect. Wait it out on here and if you have it, Facebook (lot of for sale groups there with sometimes good and very well priced stuff that never comes here or to Craigslist). You’ll probably find a good grill for 150. I paid 40 for a good pair of bezels, another 100 and I could have bought a grill, but I’ve got grills for all my 70’s.

They’re called bumper tor grill fillers. If I was needing one, maybe 125? They’re the same for all 70 Plymouth B bodies, 2 door and 4 door.

Over the years ive picked up 7 full grill sets w/outer chrome and stainless trim and lower mouth plastic all with no cracks chips or any other damage. You just have to go to the wrecking yards on a regular basis, youll find them...too bad i only collected 1970 rr parts, and ignored all other mopars...all of those cuda challengers chargers i past on...

Did the same thing in the 90s. Haven't seen a vintage B body in boneyard for years. Many years.
