Check out this hole at the bottom of the firewall. It looks like it was two holes at one time, but someone cut out the middle section to make on big hole. I've been looking at pictures from other cars and none have these holes. They are pretty clean cut around the edges so they sue look to be factory. Any ideas?

Does the carb air cable come out of that grommet just below the voltage regulator?

The current voltage regulator has PN 3874520 on it. In the 70 repair manual it only list 3438150 so I'm not sure what the correct voltage regulator should be. I'm still looking for a copy of the 70 body and electrical drawing manual.

We found what looks to be a bullet hole in the passenger floor board. Crazy...

Thank you

Yes the lower oblong hole is a backyard custom.

Yes on the cable hole by regulator.

Regulator is a mid 70’s unit, not original to the 1970 car. They all fit and work from 1970 thru late 80’s cars and truck with external regulators.

Thank you. Much appreciated. These wiring diagrams a daunting... I'm still trying to figure which ones match up to rallye guages.

I read this in another post. So download the FSM for a 1969 Coronet. See if its in there. I just looked and believe its section 8-108 and 109 schematics.

Chapter/section 8 in the 1969 FSM covers electrical including wiring diagrams for the rallye instrument cluster. I'm guessing they didn't include it in the 1970 manual because it was already covered in 1969...including removal.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

There is a heater box assembly for sale in the for sale area.
You might be able to plug the lower hole with a clutch pedal oval grommet.
