Here's a pic of my 1970 Dodge Superbee. Fresh paint original Plum Crazy, 440 Six Pack instead of original 383, 727 on the column shifter, bench seats with blk interior, Rallye dash, 17 Torque Thrusters II, Goodyear F1 rubber. i'm still working on it. Needs Perfect Fir Classic Air installed and i need to finish the shocks, undercarriage and rest of the suspension.

I hope some day, if only for awhile i could own and drive one of these, How i remember not liking the looks back in the day and now, It appears that they really are as cool as my cousin said back then when we argued about the body style"s and so many other things! lol, tastes change and for the right reasons sometimes :) Very nice!!! :)

Thanks all. Put the exhaust system in the other day and heard the engine first time with it on. Lots of valvetrain noise. Took the valve covers off and torqued the rocker shafts down again. No valvetrain noise. And the rears are 18s not 17s.

I hope when you get the engine tuned the way it needs to be you'll do a video! She has to sound as good as she looks :)

I put Sonics on because I'm tired of how loud my Chevelle is. So it's mostly stock sounding plus a tad. Doesn't have a big cam either. So no big lope. I'm trying to keep it as stock as possible with a few exceptions. I even have the original radio to go in it. I probably should have put the reproduction rallye wheels on but I like the look of the newer rubber and wheels too much. I put Wilwoods on the front but left it without PS or PB. I find drums too unsafe for me. Add the air for comfort and some more detail and I'll be closer.

I do need to fix my accelerator pedal. I have the Demon six pack and Lokar kickdown and throttle cable. Any suggestions on how to make that much smoother?

Sweet looking car - never regret dropping in the 440 and the six pack. You just made it as sweet under the hood as it is on the outside. She's a beauty.

70 superbee is one of my favorite body styles, especially in plum crazy.
