i would like you guys to take a look at the link i am posting. i would also like you to read what this guy has written. look at ALL OF THE PIX too if you would. now...i ask you, can this dude honestly make all of these claims about this car? for example. he says most damage was caused by dropping shelves on it......does the wing get cut off by dropping a shelf on it??? i think this dude should be turned in to the ebay police. this car was clearly in a fire.....i see blue paint on the 1/4's...theres no interior...the best thing on this car is the nose and even THATS questionable. i think the dude should take 5 grand and run. ! do you guys see any traces of tor-red ???

it only worth what a scrap yard will give you per ton. Once a car has burned, the metal turns to tissue paper, and does not the the strenght it should have.

I wounld not take it, even if the guy gave to me.

Wasn't that car on here a couple of years back? I seem to remember a Bar B Bird on a pallet or forklift.....

I remember this car...It was in a fire..Not muck there that is straight...Your paying for the vin numbers..

Yeah, they were trying to sell it a couple of years ago. Still junk in my opinion. Time doesn't heal those wounds.

"When you first glance at the car it doesn't look good. But its deceiving. The car was in a garage that started on fire, however the car didn't get that hot. Alot of original paint is still on the car, the damage your seeing is almost entirely from stuff he dropped on it. Basically dents/dings, all very fixable." lol The owner of this car doesn't have anything more than scrap iron. In his opinion, all this is fixable rather easily. I think he should attempt it. That car is very very rough.

Yes, that car burned pretty good. There is no lead in any of the factory leaded seams that's shown, look through the back window opening at the driver door and door B pillar and notice the misalignment and the deformed trunk floor it was probably deformed when the gas tank exploded. I see ripples on the quarter that are not impact dents. But then I could be wrong. :D

That guy is drinking his bong water if he thinks he's getting any were over scrap price for that Vin tag, that's about the only thing worth anything, in that CarBQ... I think it was posted on here, DodgeCharger.com forum & Winged Warriors forum before....

He also speaks about the frame needing work at maybe $2000.00 frames don't get bent from merely dropping stuff on the body. This car is a wreck. Maybe he can use it for a flower pot out in the front of his house. "$45,000", this guy is on drugs of some sort.

if this story is true, this guy (the owner) should be held accountable for DESTROYING this classic piece of history by supposedly " dropping things on it". a blind man could see that this is a BS story and that this car was clearly intentionally burned , ripped apart and just destroyed. if indeed he did this for the insurance money (the guy speaks of the owner)...someone should do something about this that lives close to the car. insurance fraud is NOT legal in any states that i know of. i do not own a superbird but i do own the next best thing which is a 1970 road runner and burning my car for insurance money is the LAST thing i would ever do if i was in hard times for money. seeing this breaks my heart and at the same time makes me so angry that i am close to going there myself and reaming that guy a new *** and punching him dead square in the face! if this was in Pittsburgh i would be first in line to give this dude a thorough *** beating because he deserves one! im sure i am not alone here in feeling this way. people would give their left n&*to own a superbird and heres some IDIOT burning it like it was a common camaro...( yes i hate camaros) !

signed: pissed off in Pittsburgh !

UPDATE>>>> i just emailed this guy heres what i asked him:
Dear 12hd12,

if you are not the owner of this car when it was appraised at $175,000.00, how did you acquire it? and more importantly, WHY did you aquire it?

Guys, guys, guys, that'll all buff right out! :laughing7:

I've heard similar issues with burned cars, but do tell more on what happens to the metal after it's been subjected to very high temps?

Once a car has burned, the metal turns to tissue paper, and does not the the strenght it should have.

" didnt get that hot" ..... hahahaha !!! This thing was cookin ! looks like it rolled over a few times too ! ... i remember this car from a few years ago, i think it was going for around the $20K range ....
