So this is probably a dumb question as I am not fully versed in all things Charger, but were 71 Charger R/T's the only version that had the single round medallion in the middle of the upper door panels? The SE's I have seen had a square insert with the SE emblem. The later 73-74 had at least two versions, the SE and the stepped woodgrain (Rallye?). I have a 71 R/T with the medallions and a 73 SE and 73 Rallye. I was looking for a parts car advertised as a 73, but it had the single medallion door panels. Thanks.

Great question, possibly the charger 500. Panel's with the medallion would not be correct on a 73.

upper door panels from 73/74 WON'T FIT on 71/72, no matter the model... 73/74 doors are around 1 and a half inch lower on rear. So no matter the specific model you compare, simply by the diff year 73/74 won't fit on any 71/72 ( and backwards ).

then after this, we have two diff panels on 71: SE and regular with the round medallion and 2 on 72/74 period: BROUGHAM and regular but BROUGHAM doesn't mean really just SE, since BROUGHAM package was available also on regular non SE Hardtops, with of course the stated diff between 72 and laters due the door difference.

No Medallions on 72/74 period no matter what. So if the car is advertised 73 and got a panel with medallion, or is not a 73, or panel got a custom job
